“For Lonely Winter Nights”

 I designed and animated the album cover for “For Lonely Winter Nights” by comfort (IG: @sendcomfort)

Brief: The artist wanted a feeling of longing and seclusion in his work so we experimented with a hidden cabin in the woods. The forest branches were added to the foreground to shroud the image like a vignette, contributing to this sense of isolation.

Using Puppet rigging in After Effects, I animated the branches. I animated the smoke using cell animation in Photoshop.
